Fashion trade show Project has hit Las Vegas, and Trina Turk Outerwear is here showing our Fall 2013 line. Project shows bi-annually in Las Vegas and New York, and is not only a great way to see the best and latest brands, but is also a chance for industry insiders to trade news, gossip, and do some bonding over quality apparel.

Global emerging fashion blog Moda & Estilo presented a runway review and photo coverage of our Trina Turk Outerwear show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. See what they have to say about our brand’s newest collection:
We’re so proud to unveil the Fall 2013 collection by Trina Turk Outerwear! The collection was presented today at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week New York–a first for the brand– and we think Turk did a beautiful job.
The runway reviews are already stacking up at Style.com, Fashionista, Moda & Estilo, and New York Magazine. “After a decade in business,” writes WWD, “the print-driven, dress-heavy contemporary brand is moving toward more subdued patterns and sophisticated sportswear dressing to please its grown-up customer base.”
Take a look at some looks from the collection, each topped with a brimmed felt hat by David Steele.
Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week kicks off today, and photographers are already out snapping photos of the city’s best dressed. One of these style savvy subjects wore the Trina Turk Lucy Zip Coat, with beautiful results.
Item House was created in 1956 in Seattle, WA starting as a small manufacturer of women’s clothing and turning into a full-on design business by the early 90’s.
For our new website, we wanted to honor our humble beginnings by taking beautiful photographs of our clothing right here in our hometown. Showing off Seattle’s unique mixture of old-settler brownstones and new-world high-rises, there is no better place to portray Item House’s style and distinction than Seattle’s Pioneer Square.
We had the unique pleasure of working with local fashion photographer Alex Lim who has worked with top-shelf modeling agencies, high-end spas, boutiques and luxury brands like Breitling. He brought out the distinctive qualities in each collection and each model as well. Lim worked flawlessly with all our models, two being American Next Top Model contestants! Everyone involved, hair, make-up, and stylists, worked tireless throughout the day until…it started raining. That’s Seattle for you.
All our hard work is now presented to you here, on our website. Please enjoy.
Thank you for supporting Item House!
